| I want to tell you that early in the year our annual Soul to Soul concert was held virtually, and it was a smashing success! Instead of selling 250 seats to the theater at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, we had it streamed in more than 2,500 households! The show went over so well that it was replayed during a virtual international Yiddish Festival hosted by the State Jewish Theater in Bucharest, Romania! Congratulations to all my friends at the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene who puts on this show and has formed a little family in the process! |
I also was so thrilled to take part in a project by JW’s Inspirational Singers!
We filmed and recorded an arrangement of the song “Stand Up”, which was released online back in January. This led to the group being asked to come to Los Angeles and audition for America’s Got Talent!
I didn’t go along on the trip (whew! I was busy in May!) but the whole group will be featured, and I hope you will all cheer them on during this week’s episode on Tuesday, June 22 on NBC! And check out the video we shot right here:
