Onward and upwards!

24 10 2010

I’ve been hard at work lately on a series of auditions. It’s been great fun learning the material and developing a character. At the same time, I’ve been studying with Richard Sabellico and learning a host of new songs for class. It’s been great to have new material on which to focus. And I’ve been discovering some old musicals that I didn’t know before, and that’s always fun!

I also recently got to see my buddy Mike McGrath in Memphis, on the one-year anniversary of the show. It’s always a thrill to watch someone you know on the stage, making art, creating a character.

Of course, actually booking a show is what makes the wallet and the agent happy, but even just performing in class, or in the audition room, is pretty much the stuff that fuels life!
